Strategic Supplier Quality Engineer
Job summary
A leading medical device company in Alberta is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to manage supplier evaluations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Engineering or Science and 2 to 5 years of progressive quality responsibility in supplier quality. This role offers opportunities for collaboration across functional teams and aims to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of progressive Quality responsibility in Supplier Quality.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of potential suppliers.
- Develop and implement supplier quality assurance plans.
- Lead supplier qualification and requalification activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
