Job summary
A major copper mining operation in British Columbia is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to join their Environmental Department. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in environmental monitoring, water management, and reclamation within a dynamic work environment that encourages professional growth and development. Applicants should possess a relevant engineering degree and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Geological or Mining Engineering.
- Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training.
- Prior experience or co-op experience in mining or environmental management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety codes and environmental permits.
- Participate in environmental monitoring programs and data analysis.
- Assist with environmental inspections and reporting to regulatory agencies.
