Founded in 2000 with Counter-Strike in our blood, we have pioneered the esports scene since its inception. We earned our stripes by competing at the very top level across almost a dozen game titles, and we believe in only winning or learning.

The role of Commercial Director:

The Commercial Director is an essential part of NIP's growth and international expansion. This role provides leadership and oversight for the development and execution of NIP's commercial strategy. The Commercial Director will build, retain, recruit, and manage a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Team, aiming to position NIP as the top commercial esports partner globally while continuing revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Build and develop a high-performing Commercial Team through mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
  • Advocate for and promote NIP culture, positively influencing the team and the organization.
  • Report on the development and status of the partnership portfolio to the management team.

Revenue and Partnership Management

  • Set and manage targets for the Commercial Team.
  • Oversee and direct the team to meet or surpass sales targets and contribute to profitability.
  • Implement measures to assess customer satisfaction to boost retention and revenue.
  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Understand current and future strategic priorities of partners.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.

Business Development

  • Continuously seek improvements and develop corresponding commercial strategies.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to enhance processes and organizational synergy.
  • Facilitate the creation of innovative partnerships to elevate fan and gaming experiences.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience leading commercial or business development functions.
  • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in developing and executing commercial strategies.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams, mentor, and influence company culture positively.
  • Strong business acumen to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • In-depth understanding of the esports industry, including trends and market dynamics.
  • Experience in fostering cross-departmental collaboration and improving internal processes.
