The successful applicant will be part of the Apex Fund Administration service offering, performing, and providing Fund Administration services to Private Equity funds. The applicant will be expected to be proactive and independent in execution of client service delivery. The principal responsibility for the position is the coordination and management of all administration functions relating to a specific group of clients.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Manage production of client quarterly and annual reporting and related accounting activities;
2. Perform reviews of client quarterly and annual reporting and related accounting activities;
3. Ensure reporting deliverables are produced and reviewed to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner;
4. Ensure reporting deliverables are produced in line with the appropriate accounting standards, fund documentation, local regulations, policies and procedures;
5. Review of annual financial statements;
6. Calculation and processing of fund capital calls and distributions;
7. Build excellent working relationships with clients;
8. Ensure all work undertaken complies with the client’s documentation, relevant regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering regulations;
9. Review and recommend changes to client deliverable processes;
10. Review, recommend and implement agreed changes to accounting procedures;
11. Keep up to date with changes to accounting standards and regulatory requirements;
12. Follow Company procedures at all times;
13. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of deliverables;
14. Provide cover to team members if required;
15. Manage the set-up process of the accounting functions for new funds;
16. Perform investor AML-related risk assessments and due diligence checks;
17. Ensure regulatory and tax filings are completed on time;
18. Act in accordance with the Apex Code of Conduct;
19. Deliver the Apex Client Charter.

Skills Required:

1. Has relevant experience of 5-8 years in a similar role incorporating the above functions;
2. Has knowledge of Private Equity fund structures and the fund administration industry;
3. Understands Regulatory requirements of Private Equity funds;
4. Knowledge of e-Front / Yardi Voyager preferred;
5. Has a professional degree in accounting or finance;
6. Quick to grasp and implement knowledge;
7. Has strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
8. Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
9. Be a proactive team player with a positive attitude towards problem resolution with strong attention to detail;
10. Has the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
11. Has the ability to multi-task and manage projects.
