Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, partnerships, etc.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and in a timely manner.
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored trade finance solutions.
- Ensure proper onboarding of new clients, including documentation, KYC, compliance, and operational setup.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and promote additional trade finance instruments or services to existing clients.
- Escalate complex matters to senior management and coordinate with relevant departments until resolution.
- Maintain an updated sales pipeline with detailed stages, client status, expected closures, and follow-up actions.
- Submit regular sales reports in line with company policies, procedures, and reporting schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support deal execution, participate in team meetings, and provide constructive client feedback.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a sales or relationship management role, preferably within a bank or trade finance institution.
- Proven ability to manage high-value client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
