The Impact:

A Consulting Executive Director Upstream is responsible for leading client engagements involving strategic support, transaction due diligence, portfolio and asset evaluation, technical analysis, economic modeling and/or advanced analytics. The role will also lead practice development activities, strategy formulation, team building and business. This role is part of a global leadership team for Upstream Consulting with accountability for EMEA region business performance and personnel management.

What Were Looking For:
  • 15 years of upstream consulting, strategic planning, E&P/OFS industry or analytics experience with energy related experience
  • Proven track record of client service excellence and business development
  • Cultural Competence: understand regional culture and business practices
  • Regional clients relationships: proven ability to develop and cultivate relationships with local operators, NOCs and governments
  • Prior management consulting or strategic advisory experience strongly preferred -->
  • Consistent delivery of multiple US$ millions in annual consulting revenue
  • A bachelor or masters degree (or equivalent degree) in economics, engineering, mathematics, computer science or energy related technical field (Geology, Petroleum Engineering etc.)
  • Must be capable of not only seeing the big picture and communicating a compelling story but also delving into its technical details to highlight key elements
  • A keen attention to details and highly effective organization and prioritization skills including the ability to stay on task and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision but also to understand the needs of other consultants and researchers and the timing of those needs
  • Languages in addition to English being proficient in Arabic would be beneficial
