We are looking to hire Ductmen to join one of our clients based the UAE, Construction Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ductwork and related systems as part of HVAC projects. This role requires hands‑on experience in duct installation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with other trades.
- Install, maintain, and repair ductwork for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine project requirements.
- Measure and cut duct materials accurately using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure that all duct installations comply with relevant codes and safety standards.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of existing duct systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other team members, including HVAC technicians and project managers, to complete tasks efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to ductwork installations or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Document work and report any materials or equipment needs to the supervisor.
- Stay informed about new technologies and methods in the duct installation field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in HVAC systems is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Ductman or in a similar role within the HVAC industry.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork components.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as safe operating practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
Work may be performed in various settings, including construction sites. May require working in confined spaces and at heights.
