Job summary

A leading industrial automation firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a Quality and HSE Manager to improve management systems and ensure compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring quality systems, conducting audits, and training staff. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, an Engineering degree, and excellent communication skills in English. Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years experience in an Engineering company serving the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.
  • Excellent knowledge in establishing QHSE MS including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Strong English communication skills in written and oral.

  • Review and update procedures to fulfill Quality and HSE standards.

Job Purpose
  • Maintain and Continually Improve YMAs Quality and HSE Management System.
  • Support in developing Quality and HSE Programs that will enhance YMA Capabilities to meet challenging Customer Requirements and Management Standards.
  • Provide Complete Timely and ErrorFree Support to other Departments to meet Customer Requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Continuously monitor & improve the Quality Health Safety & Environment (QHSE) Management Systems (MS) ISO 9001 ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
  • Review & update procedures and other supported documents by defining departmental processes and setting up relevant procedures to fulfill applicable Quality and HSE standards.
  • Executing audits & inspections and followup on corrective & preventive actions.
  • Respond to all kind of complaints and requests raised.
  • Prepare and conduct Risk Assessments.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents involving personnel and equipment including dangerous occurrences.
  • Prepare the related periodic reports & analysis and recommend preventive measures.
  • Conduct QHSE related trainings.
  • Maintain & execute QHSE Strategies and Standardization across all operations.
  • Create and promote QHSE awareness culture.
  • Represent the company on QHSE issues.
  • Provide support to operations in order to achieve QHSE performance targets.
  • Liaise with other departments on operational matters such as quality health safety security emergency response and environmental issues.
  • Act as a liaison for product compliance communications between YMA concerned departments.
  • Timely & accurately acquiring & sharing Information of Law & Regulations related to product compliance.
Qualification and Experience
  • Basic Qualification Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH IOSH OSHA or industry equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in an Engineering company serving the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.
  • Excellent knowledge in establishing QHSE MS including but not limited to: ISO 9001 ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Standard etc.
  • Strong English communication skills in written and oral.
  • Good project management skills.
