The role:

The Business Development and Technical Sales Director plays a key role in driving revenue growth by leading strategic partnerships and spearheading business development initiatives. With a strong blend of technical expertise and commercial strategy, this role ensures a seamless customer experience from solution design to deal closure. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to position the company’s offerings as innovative, scalable, and highly valuable in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development & Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand market reach, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive business opportunities.
  2. Technical Sales Leadership: Lead solution design, product demos, and pre-sales efforts, translating customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.
  3. Revenue & Pipeline Management: Build and manage a sales pipeline, align with revenue targets, and oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, engineering, and legal teams to align strategies, influence product development, and structure successful deals.
  5. Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends and competitors, providing insights to position the company as a trusted leader.

Experience & Skills Required:

  1. 8+ years in business development, technical sales, or leadership roles in technology, SaaS, or B2B enterprise environments.
  2. Proven success managing full sales cycles and driving business growth.
  3. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of solution design, software architecture, and product lifecycle.
  4. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-driven value propositions.
  5. Consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets through strategic, consultative selling.
  6. Expertise in negotiation and contract management.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  1. Experience working with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  2. Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-performance, collaborative environments.
