Job Summary
The Sr. Marketing Manager – Growth Marketing (MENA Markets) will drive the growth strategy across performance marketing channels—including paid search, shopping, paid social, display, and video advertising—to deliver sales, revenue, new customer acquisition, and eCommerce app user acquisition for the MENA Region.
This role reports directly to the Director of Global Paid Media and supports the Regional Sr. Marketing Director for MENA markets by scaling and optimizing performance marketing programs. The Senior Manager will own the paid media program, manage the budget, optimize campaigns, test creative frameworks, and report insights to leadership. The ideal candidate is data‑driven, analytical, creative, and has deep experience driving growth for enterprise e‑commerce companies. Advanced Excel skills and comfort manipulating data are essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Build, coach, and develop the MENA growth marketing team.
- Drive paid search, shopping, paid social, display, and video strategies from conception to execution, optimization, and post‑campaign analysis.
- Develop strategies to acquire eCommerce app users through paid media and app store optimization.
- Collaborate with MENA leads and specialists to scale programs and identify new platforms to test.
- Plan and manage large‑scale search campaigns (Google and Bing Search and Shopping) and social and display campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, etc.
- Partner with insights, product, and engineering teams to enhance tracking efforts and improve daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Optimize performance marketing campaigns to meet and exceed goals using channel‑specific levers such as copy changes, keyword research, bid adjustments, automation, budget allocation, A/B testing, placement testing, creative optimization, product feed optimization, and more.
- Support product feed marketing efforts including Google Shopping, Facebook DPA, and shopping comparison sites.
- Work cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with creative resources to develop creative assets necessary to achieve goals.
- Collaborate with earned and influencer media teams to run paid social strategies alongside organic social strategies and content.
- Ensure overall cost per acquisition (CPA) is within targets and drive customer acquisition at scale.
- Serve as the main point of contact for outside vendor and agency relationships.
- Maintain all relevant certifications such as Google AdWords Certified Professional.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (required); proficiency in another language (e.g., Arabic) is a plus.
- Understanding of performance marketing strategies, tactics, and processes.
- Strong understanding of the relationship between marketing channels and business objectives.
- Proven track record of developing and executing innovative performance marketing campaigns at the strategic and tactical level.
- Extensive knowledge of paid search, paid social, and display landscape, including optimization techniques, bidding models, and ad units across Google Search, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.
- Experience using Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads dashboard, Google AdWords, and other major media buying platforms.
- Deep understanding of customer analytics and attribution: CPA, ROAS, LTV, churn, etc.
- Comfortable performing in a fast‑moving, performance‑driven environment.
- Self‑directed with strong diplomatic and professional communication skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with teams inside and outside the department.
Experience Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience in paid search, paid social, display, and video marketing, preferably in a mid‑to‑large‑scale e‑commerce B2C company or a large advertising agency managing similar‑size campaigns.
- Experience driving campaigns from concept through execution and post‑campaign analysis.
- Experience with Google Search and Shopping, Facebook Ads, Google Display Network, programmatic display advertising, and video advertising on YouTube.
Education Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, statistics, or a related field.
