Job summary
A leading construction firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to lead operations both onshore and offshore. The ideal candidate has over 10 years in Oil & Gas scaffolding, holds offshore safety certifications, and can effectively communicate in English. This role focuses on ensuring safe work platforms and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in Oil & Gas scaffolding operations.
- Offshore safety certifications.
- Ability to read/write reports in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead scaffolding operations onshore and offshore.
- Allocate tasks to crew and demonstrate safe scaffolding assembly/disassembly.
- Train subordinates and maintain tools/equipment in optimal condition.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct site inspections, and report hazards.
- Investigate crew grievances and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
