We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Civil Laboratory Technician to join our construction and materials testing laboratory. The successful candidate will support laboratory and field operations by performing tests on construction materials such as soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials meet relevant standards and project requirements.

1. Conduct standardized testing procedures in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO or other relevant industry standards.
2. Perform laboratory and field tests on soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate samples.
3. Accurately document test results and maintain comprehensive laboratory records and reports.
4. Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory testing equipment and tools.
5. Collect field samples and conduct on-site inspections when required.
6. Assist engineers and senior technicians with quality control and project-related testing tasks.
7. Maintain clean and safe working conditions in accordance with lab safety protocols and procedures.

1. Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
2. Basic knowledge of construction materials and testing procedures.
3. Familiarity with testing standards (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO).
4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a laboratory or field setting.
5. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong commitment to safety and quality control.
