Job summary
A prestigious hotel group seeks a Guest Relations Team Leader for its Jumeirah Beach Hotel in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will ensure a professional welcome for guests, manage customer complaints, and optimize restaurant reservations. The resort offers a wide range of leisure, wellness, and children’s facilities, complemented by a diverse selection of award‑winning dining experiences.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Team Leader to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Present a professional and welcoming demeanor to arriving customers, efficiently allocate and seat guests, and ensure a full understanding of the sequence of service standards.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback calmly and professionally, gather all relevant information, and communicate issues to management.
- Manage the booking system to optimize reservations, maximize covers, and ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all products, confidently describe them to customers, and take orders accurately by asking relevant questions.
- Handle function bookings, liaise with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams and clients to ensure seamless and well‑planned events.
- Understand and comply with local licensing laws, promote responsible alcohol service, and make simple decisions to positively impact work and customer experience.
- Have a thorough understanding of the brand concept, history, and vision, and be able to explain these to customers when asked.
