1. JOB PURPOSE

The Warehouse Lead will oversee the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of raw materials and production supplies (e.g., hardware, MDF, laminate, veneer, paint, adhesives, tools). This role ensures optimal warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and timely availability of materials to support production workflows.

Qualifications and Education:

• Degree in management, operations, or a related field (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of raw materials (e.g., wood products) and their storage/handling requirements.
• Knowledge in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, ERP) and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with quality control processes for raw materials and production supplies.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols for hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, paints).
• Experience coordinating with suppliers/procurement teams on inbound deliveries.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse/inventory management, preferably in furniture manufacturing, construction, or industrial production.

1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials (e.g., MDF, veneer, adhesives) and production tools/equipment.
• Ensure proper material handling to prevent damage.
• Optimize warehouse layout for space utilization and efficient material flow to production lines.
• Enforce safety protocols for hazardous materials (e.g., flammables, paints) and PPE compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation with procurement records.
• Collaborate with procurement and production planning teams to align stock levels with production demands.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and initiate reorders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Track material shelf life (e.g., adhesives, paints)
• Resolve discrepancies in material quality/quantity with suppliers (e.g., damaged veneer, incorrect shipments).
• Supervise daily workflows, including unloading, inspection, labeling, and issuance of materials.
• Support on-time delivery performance and reduce lead times.
