Learning Support Assistant — Inclusive Education & Growth
Job summary
A global education organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Student Support Assistant to help pupils with additional educational needs. The role involves working with individual students to break down barriers to learning and assisting teachers in developing support programs. Ideal candidates must have a high school diploma, at least two years of relevant experience, and strong English communication skills. Understanding the British curriculum is a plus. This position is aimed at candidates already based in the UAE.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Sound understanding of teaching best practice.
- Understanding of the British curriculum is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support inclusion of pupils with additional educational needs.
- Assist Class Teachers in developing and delivering support.
- Help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
