Job summary
A leading engineering firm in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced MEP Supervisor to oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on-site. The role demands a strong understanding of MEP systems, compliance with UAE regulations, and the ability to coordinate teams effectively. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, at least 3-5 years of relevant experience, and good communication skills. This position offers a chance to contribute to diverse projects while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in UAE.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, and construction practices.
- Ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and site protocols.
- UAE driving license (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all MEP works at the site.
- Review MEP drawings, materials, and method statements.
- Plan daily site activities and allocate tasks.
- Ensure installations are carried out as per standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections for quality and safety.
- Coordinate with other departments.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Verify material deliveries and ensure proper storage.
- Monitor manpower productivity and resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to UAE regulations.
Skills
Education
- Supervise, coordinate, and all MEP works at the site.
- Review MEP drawings, materials, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Plan daily site activities and allocate tasks to technicians and subcontractors.
- Ensure all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installations are carried out as per standards and approved procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with other departments (Civil, Safety, QA/QC) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project managers.
- Verify material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling.
- Monitor manpower productivity and ensure optimum resource utilisation.
- Ensure adherence to UAE regulations, local authority requirements, and company policies.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
