The Opportunity

As a result of ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Risk Analyst to join our Line 2 team.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer in Australia, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Line 2 function in the identification, assessment and mitigation of various inherent, residual and emerging risks, using quantitative analysis to support qualitative insights.

Position location:

Hybrid or Remote.

While we are open to considering a remote setting, our preference would be for the successful candidate to be based near our office in George, in the beautiful Garden Route.

Position Responsibilities And Accountabilities

1. Lead continuous quantitative monitoring, measuring, and analysis of the organisation’s prudency as part of the Line 2 function.
2. Provide technical reviews to enable the Chief Risk Officer to oversee and assure financial risks on BAU and projects across the organisation.
3. Deliver relevant, insightful, and timely briefings to the Chief Risk Officer on emerging and key risks to facilitate effective testing, challenging, and discourse with Line 1 and our Board.
4. Support qualitative risk assessments by providing ongoing subject matter expertise to ensure all risk elements are considered.
5. Support the wider risk function through training, guidance, and mentorship.
