About the Role

We are hiring a Transition Manager / Senior Project Manager to oversee and execute end-to-end service transitions in a dynamic EdTech environment.

The successful candidate will lead the onboarding of vendor teams, manage service stabilization, and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders throughout the transition lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute transition plans for onboarding vendor resources and operationalizing services
  • Ensure seamless knowledge transfer and documentation of systems, processes, and workflows
  • Drive risk management and mitigation strategies during the transition phase
  • Define and track KPIs and SLAs to ensure service stability and performance
  • Establish governance mechanisms to monitor progress and dependencies
  • Align engineering, operations, and business stakeholders across all transition stages
  • Oversee the full transition lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Ensure compliance with all security, regulatory, and contractual obligations
  • Act as an escalation point for transition-related issues
  • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum 6-8 years in Project or Transition Management, IT Services Transitions, or related domains
  • Strong experience in IT service transitions and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficient in governance frameworks, risk mitigation, and stabilization strategy
  • Working knowledge of ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE2 methodologies
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands‑on experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar tools
  • Technical understanding of Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Services, CRM, and IT Support
