Salary: R12,000 - R18,000 (Based on Experience, skill and in relation to your current package)

About the Company

This is a small, independently owned and operated quantity surveying practice, run by an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The firms work is majority in the residential and commercial projects. With the business growing steadily, theres now an opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to come on board and grow alongside the firm. This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on expertise, work closely with a mentor, and be involved in all aspects of the QS process. With potential to run own projects and time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cost estimating, tender preparation, and general QS functions
• Perform site measurements and take-offs from drawings
• Support project teams with procurement and documentation
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Attend site visits and provide input on project progress and cost tracking

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of quantity surveying experience
• Proficient in Candy software
• Exposure to both Commercial and Residential projects is an advantage
• Must have a valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
• Willing to work both in-office and on-site
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take initiative

• Self-motivated, professional, and eager to develop
• Preference for candidates with strong Candy knowledge
• Must be keen to measure and genuinely interested in the technical side of quantity surveying
