Finance & Management Accountant (Manufacturing)
Job summary
A JSE listed company is seeking a skilled Finance & Management Accountant to join their team in Germiston. This role involves preparing management accounts, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial management. Ideal candidates will hold a BCom Accounting degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing. Strong skills in JD Edwards and financial compliance are essential. Competitive salary of R35k - R39k PM based on experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and finance, ideally from a manufacturing or operations background.
- Code 8 Driver’s License.
Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure financial controls and regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and expense approvals.
- Lead and mentor finance staff.
- Oversee month-end and year-end accounting processes.
- Handle reconciliations, stock procedures, and creditor payments.
