Our client is a global trading organisation and they are looking for a commercially minded and analytically driven HR Business Partner to join their team.

• Provide commercially focused HR support to the business aligned to business goals.
• Partner with leaders to develop and implement people strategies, workforce plans and talent initiatives.
• Support employee relations, performance management, and organisational development activities.
• Contribute to change management and business transformation initiatives.

• Commercially minded with strong analytical capability.
• Experience in HR partnering within a global or complex business environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Our client is a global trading organisation and they are looking for an Accountant to work as a Tax Specialist in their Tax team. Based in Canary Wharf.

Ideally you will be Qualified/or part qualified Chartered Accountant (Finalist)
Minimum two years relevant work experience
Advanced skill using Word and Excel
SAP experience preferred

• Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and submission of complex monthly and quarterly UK (and some EU) excise duty, VAT and other statutory returns for all European operations
• Reconciliation of tax return calculations and payments to SAP data
• Corresponding with HMRC / other relevant tax authorities regarding any queries, issues or audits
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely indirect tax reporting
• Supporting the Indirect Tax Manager by assisting with Ad Hoc projects or tasks when required.
• Maintaining all indirect tax files
• Performing tax research as needed

• Qualified or part-qualified Chartered Accountant (Finalist) or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced skills in Word and Excel.
• SAP experience preferred.

• Develop and maintain working relationships with functional and business stakeholders.
• Identify issues and resolve problems. Read and interpret company policies, regulatory guidelines, and other work-related documentation.
• Accomplish work within required timelines, including short, long, and emergency timeframes.
• Ability to work with others to accomplish challenging assignments, multi-task and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
