Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Finance and Compliance Officer in Pretoria East. The ideal candidate will have a BCom/B Compt degree and 4-7 years of relevant experience in finance and compliance roles. Responsibilities include supporting the CFO, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Knowledge of BEE and audit processes is essential, while ESG exposure is advantageous. This position offers a market-related salary depending on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications

- Working knowledge of BEE requirements and audit processes.
- Exposure to ESG is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support CFO and finance team with financial reporting and audit preparation.
- Assist with management accounts, recons, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain and update Risk Registers under management guidance.

Education
SA – Gauteng, Pretoria East – Finance and Compliance Officer – Pretoria East – Market related depending on experience and qualifications.
- BCom/B Compt degree

- Exposure to finance, compliance, audit, risk or governance roles
- Working knowledge of BEE requirements and audit processes
- ESG exposure advantageous
- Duties will be but not limited to: supporting CFO and finance team with financial reporting and audit preparation
- Assist with management accounts, recons and compliance documentation
- Coordinate information requests from auditors and advisors
- Maintain corporate governance records, policies and statutory filings
- Support board and committee compliance documentation
- Track regulatory and Companies Act compliance items
- Maintain and update Risk Registers under management guidance
- Assist with risk identification workshops and documentation
- Track mitigation actions and reporting
- Coordinate B-BBEE documentation and verification support
- Assist during financial and BEE audits
- Support ESG data collection, reporting and compliance tracking
