Job summary

A finance staffing agency is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager located in Cape Town. The successful candidate will lead the transactional finance function for the UK and Ireland, manage month-end processes, provide financial reporting to management, and support budgeting and forecasting. Candidates must be CA qualified with at least 3 years of operational finance experience and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified CA (or equivalent) finance professional.
• 3+ years post-qualified experience in an operational finance role.
• Hands-on experience with key financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transactional finance function for the UK and Ireland region.
• Manage the month end close process, including accruals and prepayments review.
• Provide insightful commentary and analysis through regular finance reports.
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting opex costs.
