Job description
Job Specification: POD / Admin Clerk

Location: Kraaifontein
Industry: Logistics
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: R18,000 – R25,000 per month depending on experience

About the Role

Our client, a leading logistics company, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive POD / Admin Clerk to join their operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, maintaining accurate records, and supporting administrative functions to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, verify, and capture POD documents accurately and timeously.
  • Ensure PODs are returned, scanned, and filed according to company procedures.
  • Liaise with drivers and customers to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and PODs for billing and audit purposes.
  • Assist with data entry, invoicing support, and general administration.
  • Provide reports to operations and finance teams as required.
  • Handle queries related to PODs, delivery discrepancies, and customer documentation.
  • Support the wider operations team with administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams, drivers, and clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel essential).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with logistics systems or ERP software (advantageous).

Education & Experience
