Job summary

A financial services firm in Pretoria East is seeking a Financial Clerk with a passion for finance and at least one year of relevant experience. The successful candidate will join an accounting team, performing a variety of financial tasks and communicating with clients. Qualifications include a Grade 12 with Accounting and a BCom degree or National diploma is advantageous. Bilingualism in English and Afrikaans is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a similar position.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Form part of an accounting team.
• Attend planning meetings in relation to clients.
• Perform various reconciliations.
• Capture financial data.
• Liaise with clients.
• Complete agreed upon procedures.
• Ensure Engagement letters are received and on file.
• Obtain bank confirmations.
• Attend all training organised by the firm.
• Complete Performance reviews.
• Handle all admin duties relating to completion of a client file.
