Job summary
A local engineering firm in Sasolburg is seeking an experienced professional to supervise transmission line projects. The role requires 5 years' experience in stringing activities and ORHVS accreditation. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, liaising with the Project Manager, and engaging with local stakeholders. Additional equipment like a laptop, mobile, and 4x4 vehicle is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall supervision.
- Monitor and assure project lines and substation activities.
- Support contractor's progress per approved schedule.
- Liaise with Project Manager and other stakeholders.
Skills
Tools
- National Technical Diploma / B-Tech: Electrical
- 5 years' experience in transmission line stringing activities, including OPGW
- Must have ORHVS Accreditation
- To provide overall supervision
- Monitoring and assurance on project lines and substation activities
- Contractor's progress in terms of the approved schedule support
- Liaising with Project Manager
- Local Community Forums and other Stakeholders
