Job summary

A leading construction agency is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee nationwide shotcrete operations focusing on KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape. The ideal candidate will manage and mentor multiple teams, enforce safety standards, and maintain quality throughout project execution. A National Diploma in Civil Engineering and 3 to 5 years of civil construction experience, including shotcrete supervision, are required. This role calls for extensive travel and hands-on leadership in diverse site environments.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of civil construction experience, including a minimum of 2 years of shotcrete supervision.
• Strong understanding of wet and/or dry mix processes, equipment, and crew coordination.
• Experience with reinforced or complex shotcrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shotcrete activities across multiple sites.
• Manage and mentor nozzlemen, pump operators, finishers, hose tenders, and assistants.
• Oversee setup, inspection, and maintenance of all shotcrete equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure environmental suitability for shotcreting.
• Conduct quality control across placement, mixing, finishing, and curing.
