Job summary

A leading health and beauty retailer is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service through efficient point-of-sale operations, promoting membership in the store's loyalty program, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate should have a Grade 12 education and possess strong communication and numeracy skills. Retail experience is desirable, and this position embodies the company's goal to be the first choice for health and beauty products.

Qualifications

  • Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment.
  • Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment.
  • Ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
  • Promote the Clicks' clubcard and enroll new members.
  • Make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales.
  • Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador.
  • Execute and maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties.
  • Support the Group's vision by living and driving company values.
  • Maintain updated knowledge on products, promotions, and events.
