About the Role:
Opportunity available for an Architectural Business Development Consultant at a leader in the kitchen/flooring interior design industry.
Requirements:
5 – 7 years’ experience in a Sales, PR or Interior Design role
Matric essential
Valid Driver’s License essential
A qualification in sales, public relations or interior design would be advantageous
Computer Literate on MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent client liaison skills
Team Player and Problem Solving ability
Very well organized and energetic.
Responsibilities:
Representing, promoting, and expanding all client brands to the design industry for both interior & exterior specifications.
Identifying & engaging with architects and developers to keep client products front of mind.
Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with existing & new professionals within the industry.
Attending to all requests for pricing, quotations, product information and samples.
Identify gaps and opportunities for growth of the brands.
Handling and tracking of all leads received through various channels.
Define target markets and customer segments.
Conducting brand presentations and product training presentations where necessary.
Attend industry events and networking functions.
Developing contacts and managing business relationships with Architects, involved in the specifying and decision-making process of projects.
Offer expert technical advice on client products.
Working with product, marketing and sales teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Increase market share and sales to clients.
Digital marketing awareness to professionals within the dedicated regions.
Maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
