Purpose of the Job : Execute on deliverables that support the Head : Institutional Business.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver the full client value proposition to clients.
• Define and implement strategies to embed better client outcomes and assist in developing new investment products.
• Support strategic initiatives of the Investments business.
• Create and maintain a stable, disciplined operating environment supporting AF Investments, Client Channel teams, and Group stakeholders to build trust in our capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with investment industry partners to facilitate profitable business flows.
• Collaborate with Senior Investment Advisory Resources and Investment Sales Teams to enhance portfolio profitability through existing offerings and upsell opportunities.
• Assist in driving successful pricing outcomes for clients and Alexander Forbes.
• Enhance the ability to price investment opportunities effectively, adding value for clients and margins for Alexander Forbes.
• Drive input into new investment opportunities to improve our market positioning.
• Review and improve the commercial aspects of investment strategies and proposals.
• Support the development and delivery of the investments sales pipeline.
• Contribute to new growth initiatives, including the multi-national growth strategy, consulting house strategy, and technical support for tenders.
• Provide technical investment analysis and support to internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements :

• B, B Hons, BSc (with post-grad qualification) - minimum.
• MBA, CFA (preferable, advantageous if studying towards).
• Over 7 years of relevant experience.
• FAIS compliant and accredited (Representative) - minimum.
• Experience in Asset Consulting and Asset Management.
• Broader Business and Investment knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Pension funds, FAIS, and related legislation.
• Ability to engage with clients and provide guidance on investment products.
