Job summary
A technology consulting firm is seeking a Senior Business Analyst based in JHB for a 12-month hybrid contract. The role requires substantial banking experience, Agile and Safe certifications. The successful candidate will engage stakeholders, lead workshops, and recommend strategic solutions.
Qualifications
- Must be IIBA certified or FTI certified.
- Extensive experience in banking sector.
- Proven experience and certification in Agile techniques.
- Proven experience and certification in Safe methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Interact with the business community to facilitate design workshops.
- Recommend solutions that help achieve organisational goals.
- Elicit and analyse stakeholder needs and facilitate communication.
Skills
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team based in JHB.
This is an initial contract of 12-months- hybrid.
- IIBA certified if not then FTI Certified
- Banking experience
- Agile certified & experienced
- Safe certified & experienced
- JHB based, in office twice a week
- Interacting with the business community at all levels, from facilitating design workshops and conducting end user training to leading presentations to senior management and executive.
- To apply a set of tasks and techniques used to work as a liaison amongst stakeholders in order to understand the problems; opportunities; needs; structure; policies and operations of the organisation on large; high risk and complex projects.
- To recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals.
- To elicit and analyse the actual needs of the stakeholders; facilitate communication between organisational units and play a central role in aligning the needs of business units with the capabilities delivered by information technology and may serve as a translator between these groups.
- The senior BA has years of deep practical experience in the role; with repeated practice performing business analysis in a variety of complex situations.
