A leading recruitment firm is seeking a CA(SA) or BCom in Accounting with significant experience in reinsurance to work fully remotely. Responsibilities include implementing user acceptance tests, supporting ERP implementation, and performing financial analyses. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years post-qualification experience for CA(SA) or 10+ years for BCom. This role offers a flexible working environment.
Acumen Group is currently seeking a CA(SA) with expertise in reinsurance to join our team fully remotely.
Strategize and implement user acceptance test procedures. Provide assistance for all areas related to the Workday ERP implementation. Analyse quarterly financial statement information, prepare variance analyses, and perform financial reporting quarterly tasks. Liaise across various functions and jurisdictions to ensure all stakeholders are properly considered. Liaise with counterparts in other jurisdictions to achieve alignment on approach and progress. Assist in providing regular project updates and communications to wider teams. Support finance teams' quarterly reporting processes by performing system reconciliations, general ledger analysis, group reporting disclosures, outwards reinsurance and capital solutions reporting, and regulatory reporting inputs as necessary. Assist on segment-wide IT initiatives affecting finance (e.g., changes to policy administration system, data warehouse, etc.). Participate in ad-hoc work as required. Data analytics and change management.
CA(SA) with 5+ years post experience or BCom in Accounting with 10+ years experience in reinsurance.
