Account Executive / Assistant Accountant
Job summary
A finance and accounting firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced accounting professional to handle financial reporting and analysis. The role involves monitoring cash flow, participating in budgeting, assisting with audits, and supporting the finance team. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in accountancy and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential. Competitive compensation is offered.
Qualifications
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Handling the full spectrum of financial and management accounting.
- Monitoring cash flow and maintaining daily cash flow records.
- Participating in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assisting with tax filings and supporting audits.
- Supporting additional tasks and projects as required.
Skills
Education
- Handling the full spectrum of financial and management accounting, including providing timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of the company’s performance
- Monitor cash flow and maintain daily cash flow records
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assist with tax filings and provide support during audits
- Support additional tasks and projects as required by the business or finance team
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
