We are a music and audio creative technology studio building cutting-edge tools that empower composers, music producers, and audio professionals. Our new product aims to revolutionize the way professional composers develop music arrangements. With a simple melody input, the software will intelligently generate full arrangements, instrumentation layers, and stylistic variations using advanced AI, music theory models, and machine learning.

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with strong experience in machine learning for audio, generative AI, and music processing to spearhead the development of this transformative platform.

The AI Software Developer will be responsible for researching, architecting, building, and optimizing an AI-driven music arrangement engine. This includes converting user-provided melodies into structured music arrangements, generating accompaniment layers, and producing exportable audio/MIDI outputs that meet professional production standards.

You will collaborate with composers, sound designers, and product designers to shape the technical roadmap and bring this tool from prototype to market-ready product.

• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or equivalent. Ability to learn and work with audio/music models (Transformers, diffusion models, RNNs, LLMs for symbolic music).
• Solid understanding of music information retrieval (MIR) techniques.
• Ability to learn and work with MIDI processing and music theory algorithms.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and API design.
• Experience building production-grade AI systems.
• Familiarity with either desktop or web-based application development.
• Competency in Docker, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of music theory (harmony, arrangement, orchestration).
• Ability to interpret melodies and understand genre-specific arrangement styles.

3–7 years of experience in AI/ML development (possibly audio/domain-specific).

• Background in signal processing, music generation, and symbolic music encoding using AI music tools, plugins, DAW-related products, or creative AI apps.
• Experience with Juice Audio / VST development.
• Familiarity with music notation libraries (MuseScore API, LilyPond, Music21).
• Experience with LLM-based function calling or multi-agent orchestration.
• Prior startup or R&D lab experience.
• Experience collaborating with music creators is a plus.
• Interest in music composition, sound design, or audioengineering.
