Job summary
A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full spectrum finance and accounting duties. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management reports, ensuring timely monthly closings, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling audits and preparing GST filings.
Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of finance & accounting and costing duties.
- Prepare monthly management reporting.
- Ensure timely monthly closing and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage full spectrum of finance & accounting and costing duties, including full sets of accounts covering general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank, petty cash, GST, journals and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly management reporting.
- Prepare full set of accounts for annual statutory audit and corporate tax filing.
- Prepare schedules for tax agents and auditors, liaise and respond to tax and audit queries.
- Ensure timely monthly closing, including preparation of journal entries and accounting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate policies & procedures and accounting standards.
- Handle petty cash issuing, receiving and recording.
- Estimate and monitor cash flow and fund transfer.
- Perform accounts receivable and credit control.
- Prepare ad hoc payments and month‑end payments for suppliers and workers.
- Match purchase orders, delivery orders and invoices.
- Issue tax invoices and post invoices.
- Prepare and submit GST filings.
- Prepare and monitor project costing.
- Other duties as assigned.
