A manufacturing company based in Singapore is seeking an Account Manager to manage customer relationships and promote products. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese and Chinese, with experience in the semiconductor industry. Qualifications

  • Fluency in Japanese and Chinese is mandatory due to liaison with HQ.
  • Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing/semiconductor industry or 1 year in Sales.
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts mainly in Singapore and some in Southeast Asia.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships for product promotion.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers in Japan/Taiwan and customers.

Job Description
  • Responsible for account management of the customers who are mainly in Singapore. (some are in South East Asia countries)
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with customers to present/promote the existing and new products.
  • Coordination with the manufacturer in Japan/Taiwan in Japanese or Chinese and with customers in English or Chinese.
  • Attend technical meeting, sales meeting and meeting with customers.
  • Prepare sales report & meeting minutes.
  • Issue quotation, price calculation and price Negotiation with customers and suppliers.
  • Arrange delivery schedule with customers and factories.
  • Customer entertainment may required.
  • Meeting with technical team in Japan and technical support team locally.
Requirements
  • As this position needs to liaise with Japan HQ, therefore, knowing Japanese & Chinese language is a must.
  • Japanese speaking SG citizen or PR (NLPT 2 and above
  • Preferably Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Development or relevant field
  • Experienced in working with MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint
  • At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing / semiconductor industry or min. 1 year experience in Sales
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
  • Willing to travel when required
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills

Working Hours:

Mon – Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm (full 5-day week in office)
