The Role
As Creative Content Director, you’ll be the driving visionary behind our unique brand of culture-fluent, performance-obsessed content. You understand the heart of successful campaigns where multifaceted narratives take center stage, tailored to different platforms and different stages of the customer journey. Yet, you're the guardian of brand voice, ensuring it remains consistent and perfectly aligned with our overall objectives/campaign idea.
What you’ll be doing:
Thought-leader for culture-fluent performance-led creativity
- Conceptualize and develop creative campaign ideas that is platform-native, social-first, content-forward and performance-focused.
- Derive unique and brand ownable content angles off trending content & editorial formats.
- Collaborate with the Performance Media and Social leads to adapt narratives for diverse platforms.
- Guarantee every creative content element resonates with the brand's identity and objectives.
- Be the beacon of content creativity within our agencies, helping to bring platform first thinking to our clients and partner agencies
Graphic Design, Videography and Photography fluency
- Craft visually captivating and audience-engaging videos, social assets, static visuals, motion graphics, and long-/short-form creative content.
- Review and refine creative outputs to uphold quality, consistency, and brand standards.
Leadership Across Creative Disciplines
- Build, Inspire and guide a multi-disciplinary creative team—including designers, writers, content creators, and producers—ensuring collaboration and innovation across all content.
- Balance hands-on creative involvement with clear delegation, oversight, and mentorship.
- Provide leadership in areas spanning creative & editorial content, social campaigns and performance creative
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Building
- Build and grow strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, production partners, agencies, and creative freelance partners and networks to foster a collaborative environment.
- Play a key creative leadership role in new business pitches and strategic proposals.
Creative Communication & Storytelling
- Serve as an exceptional presenter and storyteller, articulating creative concepts visually, verbally, and in written form.
- Ensure all creative recommendations are backed by strong rationale and data-supported insights.
- Present work with clarity, confidence, and inspiration to both internal teams and clients.
Innovation, Insight & Continuous Improvement
- Champion experimentation with emerging formats, tools, and creative technologies.
- Use performance insights and platform trends to refine creative direction and optimise content effectiveness.
- Maintain a high standard of innovation, ensuring our creative output remains industry-leading.
What we’re looking for:
- 6-8 years of creative, content, or agency experience, with a proven record of delivering high-impact creative work native to channels & platforms, with 3 years in a managerial / leadership function leading teams and working directly with clients on campaigns and complex digital platforms.
- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative storytelling, digital content, and cross-platform creative excellence.
- Led and executed campaigns that have utilised social platforms in a surprising & interesting way.
- Thinks like the editor-in-chief of a cultural zine - knows what kinds of content resonate, permeate and changes social conversations.
- Obsessed with using a cadence of social content to build brands and own topics off social platforms adopted in SEA.
- Comfortable and familiar with co-creating with content publishers, influencers and creators, celebrities & artists to drive social chatter and build brands.
- Understands how to seed and spread social movements - from seeding angles, to pushing social interjections and driving user-generated content that shapes social conversations
- Clear grasp on the social media channel landscape in SEA, especially Singapore and always on top on emerging post formats and technology to create off.
- Excited to work with META, ByteDance, LinkedIn, LINE, X and more to drive more relevant social-first creativity
- Always on top of the latest in trends - content format trends, news and conversational trends, trending moments and events, from micro to macro.
- Always spotting for opportunities to jack into trends and agile enough not to miss the opportunity.
- Hungry to create new trends that make taste - in sub-cultures like society, lifestyle, fashion, gaming etc.
- Agile and comfortable with producing lo-fi, authentic, relatable yet hyper-creative content that stimulates online creative communities
- Does not shy away from pushing the boundaries of polish on shot-on-mobile and written-for-social creative assets - shot on IPhone is a creative flex.
- A challenger in defining what looks like good in contemporary creative landscape where social and creators dominate.
