This role is pivotal in assisting patients enrolled in gastrointestinal cancer treatments through recruitment, assessments, and ongoing support. The successful candidate will require a Diploma in Life Sciences, have excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. The NCCS Division of Medical Oncology is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join the Supportive Care, Integrated Treatment, And Rehabilitation to Improve Outcomes in Gastrointestinal Cancer (STRONG) team.
The Associate Research Coordinator plays a key role in supporting patients enrolled in the STRONG program. The incumbent serves as the first point of contact for patient enrolment, guiding patients through the onboarding process and ensuring they receive essential programme information. The role is responsible for administering questionnaire surveys and conducting functional assessments at designated timepoints, enabling timely monitoring of patients’ functional status and treatment progress. Through care coordination and basic health coaching, the coordinator helps patients navigate their treatment journey and ensures they receive holistic, continuous support from the multidisciplinary team.
