An early childhood education centre in Singapore seeks a dedicated leader to oversee operations and enhance teaching quality. This role involves supporting teachers in delivering effective curricula, engaging with parents, and ensuring a safe and inviting environment for children aged 2 months to 6 years. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in preschool education, a relevant degree, and proficiency in both English and Mandarin. The position offers competitive salary and a friendly working atmosphere.
Oversee the operations of the Centre and ensure that the daily routines and programmes are carried out smoothly.
Together with management team, provide leadership to teachers in quality early childhood curriculum design, development and implementation of teaching.
Support the team and grow them through effective leadership.
Establish and maintain positive and effective communication with parents and the school community.
Organize events such as excursions, workshops, open house, concerts, etc.
Ensure the centre's environment and hygiene are of the satisfying standards.
Diploma in Pre-school Education Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Leadership (DECCE-L) / Degree in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent recognised by ECDA.
Have been registered with ECDA and attained a L2 certification.
Able to communicate in Mandarin (in order to communicate with Mandarin speaking teachers and parents).
At least 3 years working experience in a pre-school with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
