About the job Service Coordinator (NavComm)
  • Confirming every day until 48 hours prior to the planned attendance date with the vessel agent.
  • Giving the scheduler control of the planning.
  • Verifying that an engineer is available for the scheduled service by speaking with the scheduler ensuring that the parts will be delivered or available before the event. (through advise orders)
  • Delivering the customer an order confirmation that includes the engineer's name and the attendance date Notifying the client of any status updates before boarding Prior to sending anything to the customer, check the service rate.
  • Ensuring that the customer receives the service rate and, if necessary, a summary of the next steps (relating to follow-up services) within 24 hours of receiving it.
  • Make sure the job order has all related expenses allocated to it in accordance with the service rate.
  • Assigned to quote / hours on board / portion used
  • Make sure every work order is within the margin constraints, close it when we can, or, if needed, forward it to the business controller for additional research.
  • Closing tickets for follow-up services and making sure they are reassigned to Inside Sales so they can contact the customer again
  • Monitors all service orders to ensure timely closure
  • You must update the equipment list in the ERP tool following services as the account owning entity's service coordinator.

SUMMARY:

  • Excellent coordination, organizing, and customer service skills strong communication abilities both in writing and speaking a resourceful, self-starting team player with the ability to work alone
