You will be part of the team that is responsible for developing and growing Singapore’s asset management sector, and enhancing Singapore’s value proposition as a global funds centre for the co-location of fund management and domiciliation activities.
In this role, you will be involved in the administration of MAS’ grants and tax incentives for funds, as part of which you will be in frequent contact with industry players to review tax incentive and grant applications.
You may also be involved in:
Formulating and implementing strategies to attract top asset managers across both the traditional and alternative sectors including hedge funds, private equity and venture capital to establish a presence in Singapore, and to deepen and diversify their capabilities here;
Working on legislative enhancements to Singapore’s fund structures (including limited partnership and variable capital companies (VCCs)), with the aim of increasing Singapore’s attractiveness as a leading fund domiciliation centre; and
Promoting innovation and facilitating the adoption of technology by asset managers and the funds ecosystem, including in areas like fund tokenization and digitalization of the fund settlement processes.
Requirements :
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong project management skills and ability to drive projects to completion
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and influence both internal and external stakeholders
Experience in the asset management or finance industry is preferred
