An established industry player is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the lifecycle management of gas pipeline networks. What You'll Do:
Strategic lifecycle management of the gas pipeline network and installations
Implementation of asset management policies and plans to achieve Company’s business objectives and goals
Establish and maintain robust engineering practices to ensure quality assets are installed and operated in the gas pipeline network and installations
Review pipeline integrity management approaches and data to assess the operational life and risks associated with pipeline and station asset risks and recommend intervention methods where necessary
Develop and maintain whole life model frameworks for pipeline and station asset equipment and optimize the management of assets across the acquisition and maintenance phases of the asset lifecycle
Perform assessments on the condition and remaining life of existing gas pipeline and station assets and recommend intervention methods to mitigate risk outcomes
Reporting to management and stakeholders on the execution of assets lifecycle management activities such as maintenance works
Collaboration with internal stakeholders on the development and review of technical specifications for gas pipeline and station equipment assets
Perform regular reviews of the Company’s engineering practices for compliance to statutory requirements, engineering codes of practices, internal standards, and benchmark against international best practices
Support internal stakeholders in the assessment of the use of new technologies or new equipment types in the gas network
Review the Company’s existing QA / QC processes to ensure quality gas assets are installed in the gas pipeline network and stations
Source and recommend new technologies in line with the latest developments in the industry to improve gas operations practices
What You'll Need:
Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering / related discipline from university recognized by Singapore PE Board
Minimum 3 years of working experience in gas utilities or gas process plant operations and maintenance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with hazard identification and risk assessment processes
Proven ability to influence stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
