A financial services company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Kuala Lumpur. The candidate will be responsible for software design and development, client training, and leading project teams. - Soliciting clients requirements and perform impact analysis.
- Develop and test configuration scripts as per client requirements.
- Perform software design and development as per specifications.
- Perform unit testing and peer code review to ensure quality of deliverables.
- Provide support to various testing phases - Quality Assurance (QA), User Acceptance Test (UAT), System Integration Test, Regression Test, Performance Test, etc.
- Provide client training as required.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members, remotely or in-office, when required.
- Additional work outside regularly scheduled/ normal business hours may be required.
- As a Project Lead, plan, monitor and track the progress and quality of the deliverables for the entire project team.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in IT industry.
- Educated to degree level (e.g. BSc, MSc, B Tech) in an IT related subject such as Computer Science or MIS.
- Solid programming/development experience on RDBMS stored procedures (Oracle PL/SQL).
- Familiarity with enterprise level application.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with teams in remote location.
- Ability to communicate with client and managing clients expectations.
- Ability to convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
