A community learning center is seeking a passionate Senior Math & Science Teacher for Grades 4–9, focusing on delivering engaging lessons and supporting children's success. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of teaching experience. Position offers RM 2,500 with full-time hours in a supportive environment in Malaysia.
Qualificações
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Burmese is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Teach Mathematics and Science for Grades 4–9.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and term exams.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning levels.
- Use ICT tools and hands-on activities.
- Provide feedback to boost student confidence.
- Collaborate on curriculum development.
- Participate in school and cultural activities.

ELOM Academy is a community-based learning center in Taman Sri Murni, Selayang. We provide quality education to refugee children and believe that education can restore dignity and hope. Our program is expanding in 2026, and we are looking for a passionate Senior Math & Science Teacher to join our team.
Senior Math & Science Teacher (Grades 4–9)
December 2025 (orientation) | Classes begin January 2026
Full-time | 40 hours per week
Taman Sri Murni, Selayang, Kuala Lumpur
RM 2,500 (negotiable)
- Teach Mathematics and Science for Grades 4–9.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and term exams in advance.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning levels.
- Use ICT tools and hands-on activities to make learning fun.
- Provide feedback and encourage students’ confidence.
- Work closely with the Academy Principal and other teachers on curriculum development.
- Participate in school and cultural activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia or Burmese is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about helping children from diverse backgrounds succeed.
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Teaching)
- Afternoon: Lesson planning and Grade 2 support.
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
