Job summary
A leading manufacturer in the data center industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Iskandar Puteri to conduct acceptance testing and manage validation projects. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in data center testing. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, and proficiency in English and Malay is preferred. The position may involve long-term overseas assignments.

A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.
- Conduct acceptance testing for data center or server room electrical systems incompliance with standards, regulations, operating guidelines, and testing plans.
- Organize and document original test data upon completion of testing, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Oversee routine inspections and maintenance of data center laboratory equipment,as well as periodic verification of laboratory instruments.
- Execute customer-commissioned tests and on-site testing, lead test planning and execution, and compile and submit test results.
- Monitor the progress of testing tasks, report non-compliance issues, and provide corrective action recommendations.
- Independently lead and manage comprehensive IDC validation testing projects.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by management, respond promptly to urgent departmental matters, and collaborate with colleagues on various assignments.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical & Electronics, Electromechanical
Engineering, Measurement & Control Technology, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in data center or server room acceptance testing, with a basic understanding of HVAC systems.
- Previous experience as a test project manager for large-scale data center projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high sense of responsibility,
teamwork spirit, and the ability to work under pressure. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using office software and relevant professional tools.
- Hardworking and adaptable, willing to accept long-term overseas assignments.
- Proficiency in English and Malay is preferred.
