Our client is the manufacturing subsidiary of a large conglomerate and they are looking for a Head of Finance. This person will provide support to the Managing Director to oversee and manage all activities under the Finance department to ensure all the tasks are delivered on time.

Responsibilities
  • Set-up, lead, guide & oversee document control function for the FinanceDepartment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management reports & manages the costing & budgeting and forecast processes.
  • Manage and analyse financial performance, cash flow and capital allocation.
  • Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Updating board quarterly on financials.
  • Risk management on financial issues.
  • Liaise with authorities, internal and external auditors, tax agents and bankers on relevant matters and queries.
  • Dealing with bankers on financing and lawyers on agreements.
  • Liaise with Group Corporate Communications in matters pertaining to advertisement, donations (and other matters that fall under the purview of Group Corporate Communications).
  • To comply with company safety policy, company policy and rules and regulations.
  • Carry out and related duties and ad-hoc assignments as per requested by immediate superior.
Requirements
  • Recognised Degree in Accounting, professional qualification in MIA or other relevant qualifications.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in finance / accounting and administration role.
  • Strong financial analysis, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Matured and able to work independently, provide useful and objective advice and input.
