Our client is a large transportation group in Malaysia and they are looking for a Senior Manager or Assistant General Manager, Secretthe organisation and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate secretarial functions for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with the Companies Act 2016 and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide secretarial support for Board and Board Committee meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, compiling and distributing papers, attending meetings, and drafting minutes and resolutions (including Circular Resolutions).
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and secretarial documents, and ensure timely and accurate submission of annual returns, statutory forms, and other required filings.
  • Handle correspondences, collate information, and prepare reports, ensuring decisions made at meetings are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external regulators and advisers, such as auditors and authorities, on secretarial and compliance matters.
  • Coordinate Board-related logistics, including planning and managing travel arrangements for business trips, trainings, site visits, and official engagements, as and when required.
  • Undertake additional secretarial and administrative assignments as directed from time to time.
Requirements
  • Holds an ICSA/MAICSA professional qualification or a Degree in Law (LLB) or Secretarial Practice.
  • CGPA of ≥ 3.00 or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of corporate secretarial experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Companies Act 2016, SSM requirements, and other relevant statutory regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
