To be a part of project & operation team responsible for all flow assurance aspects for the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas production systems. This shall cover wells, flowlines and risers, fixed or floating production facilities, injection facilities and pipelines.

To provide daily process engineering and flow assurance support necessary for all of COMPANY operated facilities to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.

To work with multiple internal and external functions (Projects, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Pipeline Integrity, Planning, External stakeholders, any regulatory body) as and when required.

To contribute as and when needed to multi-disciplinary teams while providing expertise to support facilities design, operation surveillance, shutdown planning, pipeline pigging, pipeline wax management, chemical management and optimization etc.

To monitor the system and process efficiencies to help improve asset performance and provide advanced and long term engineering solutions in compliance with the existing procedures and operating manuals.

Serve as process and flow assurance engineering SME to support management of change process, and be involved in other process engineering studies as required.

Participate and contribute in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and other studies as required to address process and flow assurance threats.

Develop flow assurance and mitigation procedures as required to ensure prudent wax management for facilities and pipelines are in place.

Communicate regularly with operations and project leads on key process and flow assurance issues as required.

Be involved in preliminary analysis & design of process and flow assurance engineering for any COMPANY new projects and/or any major brownfield modifications.

Participate and contribute to COMPANY annual WPB cycle submission and review.

Focal point for brownfield engineering contracts

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree from recognized university in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Process and Flow Assurance and demonstrated work experience as a flow assurance and process engineer on an oil or gas field development project or in brownfield oil or gas field and facility operations.
• Hands on experience and understanding of key flow assurance related issues; hydrate, wax, scale, corrosion, liquid management. Experience handling waxy crude would be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated work experience in development of multicomponent fluid characterizations using a thermodynamic or process simulator, such as PIPESIM, OLGA, HYSYS or equivalent
• Experience in engineering design of infill drilling campaign is an added advantage
• Formal training and demonstrated work experience in transient multiphase flow modelling
• Knowledge of Pipeline and Subsea engineering, brownfield modifications
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills
