A leading manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily factory activities and manage all manufacturing functions. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the EMS industry. Responsibilities include monitoring resources for efficiency, improving quality management, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong operational and people management skills, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Oversee daily factory activities to meet company goals and customer expectations.
Manage all manufacturing functions including production planning, manpower allocation, workflow optimization, and capacity planning.
Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization for smooth and efficient operations.
Continuously improve quality management within the business areas, establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships and support new business opportunities.
Liaise with customers on product requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
Act as key communication channel for customer issues and manage customer satisfaction.
Manage / alias inter-department activity to achieve factory goals.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Coordinate internal resources to achieve on-time delivery while managing operating costs.
Improve process capabilities and drive continuous improvements in productivity, cost, and quality.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to achieve high product quality and on-time output.
Oversee factory safety, discipline, and workplace cleanliness.
Strictly control budget expenses and profitability for the assigned business areas.
Oversee the execution and process supervision of relevant business plans, addressing issues promptly and formulating preventive measures to mitigate potential risks.
