A leading engineering firm in Kedah is seeking a skilled professional to assist the M&E Manager in planning and implementing electrical systems projects. Responsibilities include overseeing installations, optimizing designs, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring all projects meet specifications and safety regulations. Candidates with experience in project management and knowledge of PLC systems are preferred. This position offers a dynamic working environment and opportunities for growth.
a) To assist M&E Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing the assembly and maintenance of Electrical systems and installations, collaborating with other engineers and teams.
b) Designs, develops, tests, and installs mechanical Electrical systems and devices including analysing problems, using CAD software to create designs, troubleshooting and investigating equipment failures, diagnosing problems and recommending remedies, optimizing designs for cost and efficiency, and collaborating with other project teams to ensure successful project implementation
c) To assist M&E Manager in reviewing designs, drawings, and technical submissions to ensure meeting project specifications and standards
d) To assist M&E Manager in project procurement including discussion & clarification with Vendors & Sub-contractors on all technical related matters.
e) To liaise with clients and contractors for smooth implementation of projects.
f) Responsible for Project Management, scheduling, budget control, shop floor and site co-ordination.
g) Coordinate M&E works with other disciplines (e.g., civil, structural, architectural) to ensure seamless integration and avoid conflicts
h) Tender Support: Work closely with the Tender team to provide detailed and accurate cost information for all bids and proposals. Ensure all costs are aligned with project scope and budget constraints.
i) Supervise on-site M&E installation, ensuring the quality of workmanship and materials complies with the contract and safety regulations.
Preferably with knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
